Browns Release Player After Inappropriate Social Media Posts

CLEVELAND (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Cleveland Browns today released safety Jermaine Whitehead following his disturbing social media rant that took place after yesterday’s 24-19 loss to the Denver Broncos.

The Browns announced the move just hours after rebuking Whitehead for “totally unacceptable and highly inappropriate behavior.”

Whitehead made several threatening and expletive filled posts on twitter, one of which was directed at former Buckeye and NFL player Dustin Fox, who is now a member of the Cleveland Sports media.
