WHBC image

It’s been 20 years since the Pro Football Hall Of Fame has had only a 4 member class, but that doesn’t make the small class of 2025 any less special.

It’s made up of a an interception machine, a sack specialist, a stud wide receiver and the tight end who scored the most touchdowns ever.

Your 4 member class consists of:

Cornerback Eric Allen of the Philadelphia Eagles – 54 career interceptions.

Defensive end Jared Allen of the Vikings and Chiefs – 130 sacks.

Wide receiver Sterling Sharpe of the Green Bay Packers – Led the NFL in receptions 3 times and he joins his brother Shannon as a Hall of Famer.

Tight end Antonio Gates of the San Diego Chargers – 955 catches and 116 touchdowns.

In somewhat of a surprise, first year eligible players, quarterback Eli Manning of the Giants and kicker Adam Vinatieri of the Patriots were not selected,

Allen, Allen, Sharpe and Gates will be inducted on August 2nd in Canton, Ohio.
