Antonio Hall Resigns As McKinley Head Football Coach

Antonio Hall has resigned as head football coach of the McKinley Bulldogs.

In 4 years as head coach, Hall compiled a (31-20) record with 3 Federal League titles. This past season, the Bulldogs finished (6-4) in the regular season, (5-1) in the Federal League, sharing the Fed Title with Jackson and finished (8-5) overall after losing to Mentor in the Division 1 Regional Semi-Final.

McKinley High School and the Canton City School District (CCSD) are announcing that Head Football Coach Antonio Hall informed his team this afternoon of his decision to step down from his coaching role in order to take on expanded administrative responsibilities within the district.

Schools Superintendent Jeff Talbert expressed his appreciation for Coach Hall’s dedication over the past four years.


“Coach Hall has been a vital leader of the McKinley High School football program for the past four years, guiding the team through a period of significant challenges and transition,” he said. “His commitment to the program and the students has been unwavering, and his leadership has been instrumental in helping to rebuild the team when the school and community needed it most.”


The Canton City School District would like to extend its deepest thanks and appreciation to Coach Hall for his dedication, hard work, and contributions to the McKinley program. His passion for the students, both on and off the field, has left an indelible mark on the team and the school.


While stepping down from his coaching role, Coach Hall will continue to serve the district in an administrative capacity, focusing on developing and enhancing programs and community partnerships that support the overall growth and development of students, both during and after school.

His experience and commitment to the success of young people will undoubtedly continue to have a positive impact on the students, staff, and the entire Canton community.
