The Browns made the first surprising move in the 2025 NFL Draft when G.M. Andrew Berry traded the 2nd overall pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars who then selected wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.

In return for the 2nd overall pick and later round picks, the Browns received the Jags 1st round pick this year – 5th overall – and drafted Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham.

Also in the deal, Cleveland received Jacksonville’s 2nd and 4th round picks this year, and most importantly, the Jaguars 1st round pick in the 2026 draft.

Graham is a 6’3 – 296 pound junior eligible pick who helped the Wolverines win the 2023 National Championship with his All American play in the middle of that Michigan defensive line.

Staying in the AFC North:

With the 17th overall pick the Cincinnati Bengals selected Edge Rusher- Shemar Stewart from Texas A&M.

At pick number 21 overall the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted DT- Derrick Harmon from Oregon

And rounding out the AFC North selections, the Baltimore Ravens at pick 27 chose S- Malaki Starks from Georgia.

Day 2 of the NFL Draft is Friday with the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

The Browns own the first selection in the 2nd round at pick number 33 and thanks to the trade with the Jaguars. they also have the 4th pick in the second round at number 36.

Cleveland will also have 2 selections in the 3rd round at picks 67 and 94.

The Browns currently have two picks in the second round (33rd and 36th overall) and two picks in the third round (67th and 94th overall).
