Flacco Sacked Again, Gabriel To Start

The Cleveland Browns will be starting their 41st different quarterback since they returned to the NFL in 1999 as it was announced today that rookie 3rd round pick Dillon Gabriel will get the start against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday in London, England.

Gabriel has played in 2 previous games this regular season in mop up time and has completed 3 of 4 passes for 19 yards and 1 touchdown with no interceptions. 

Flacco began the season as the number 1 quarterback, but the offense has scored the 2nd fewest points (56) in the NFL, Flacco has thrown 6 interceptions, lost 1 fumble, been sacked 9 times and the team has dropped 3 of its first 4 games. 

Flacco however, will serve as the number 2 quarterback in the game, with rookie 5th round pick Shedeur Sanders remaining as the emergency 3rd string quarterback.
