As expected, the Dallas Mavericks used the number #1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on Duke forward, Cooper Flagg.

The 6’8, 221 pound freshman was named the Naismith Player of the Year and led the Blue Devils to the Final Four, averaging 19.2 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per contest in his lone season in Durham.

Rutgers guard Dylan Harper was the 2nd overall pick by the Spurs.

The Cavaliers did not have a first round pick, as it was traded away to Utah in the deal to acquire Donovan Mitchell in September of 2022.

Cleveland does have (2) second round selections Thursday night, with picks #49 and #58.
