Former Jackson Polar Bear Dingler Named MLB All Star

Former Polar Bears multiple state champion Dillon Dingler continues to excel at the highest level.
The 2017 Jackson high school graduate and now Detroit Tiger, is a Major League Baseball All Star.

Dingler was selected by his fellow players as the reserve catcher for the American League in the 2026 All Star game to be played on July 14 in Philadelphia.
It’s the first All Star selection for the 27 year old Dingler, who last year as a rookie for Tigers, won a “Gold Glove” as the best defensive catcher in the American League.

Currently Dingler is hitting .266 with 19 homers and 59 rbi’s for Detroit.
