Healthy Cavs Crush Pacers In Game 3
Donovan Mitchell scored a game high 43 points and Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, and DeAndre Hunter all returned from injuries to help the Cavaliers beat the Pacers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 126-104.
Mitchell who scored 17 in the first half and 26 in the second half to led the way, but Evan Mobley’s impact was felt just as much as the Defensive Player Of The Year returned from an ankle injury to score 18 points, snatch 13 rebounds, dish out 4 assists, grab 3 steals and reject 3 shots.
Garkand, who missed the last 4 playoff games due to a left big toe injury contributed 10 points and Hunter, who sat out last game with a dislocated thumb, had 8 points and 5 rebounds off the bench.
Max Strous also had a solid game for the Cavaliers with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
Bennedict Mathurin paced Indiana with 23 points, while Game 2 hero Turese Haliburton was held to just 4 points.
Despite the loss, the Pacers still lead the best of 7 series 2 games to 1 with Game 4 Sunday night at Indiana.
