Jose Ramirez Won’t Play In All Star Game

Guardians All-Star 3rd baseman Jose Ramirez, who was voted in as a starter for this year’s Midsummer Classic will not participate in the game.

The team released a statement that said, Ramirez will not partake in the 2025 All Star Game to focus on recovery and preparation for the second half of the season.

Ramirez has battled an ankle and wrist injuries throughout the first half of the season.

Guards outfielder Steven Kwan, selected as a reserve, will play in the game on Tuesday, July 15th in Atlanta.
