Mitchell Handles The Heat, Cavs Lead Series 2-0
Donovan Mitchell scored 17 of his 30 points in the decisive 4th quarter to lead the Cavaliers to a 121-112 victory of the Heat in Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs first round.
Darius Garland added 21 points and Evan Mobley chipped in 20 to help Cleveland take a (2-0) series lead over Miami.
The Heat, who trailed by 19 points in the 3rd quarter, cut the lead down to 2 points with 3:00 left in the game, but were never able to take the lead.
Tyler Herro led Miami with a game high 33 points.
Game 3 in this best-of-7 series shifts to “South Beach” for a 1pm tip-off Saturday afternoon.
Game 4 will be Monday in Miami as well.
