Ohio State Will Play Miami In The College Football Playoffs

With Miami’s 10–3 win over Texas A&M in the first round of the 2025 College Football Playoffs, the Hurricanes advance to the Quarterfinals to take on Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl on Wednesday, December 31 at 7:30PM in Arlington, Texas.

This will be the 5th meeting between these 2 schools with each having won 2 times and the most memorable matchup was when O.S.U. beat Miami 31-24 in double overtime to win the 2002 National Championship in the Fiesta Bowl.

The number #2 ranked Buckeyes are an early 9.5 point favorite over the number #10 ranked Hurricanes.
