The Guardians were shut out for the second game in a row in the ALDS, losing to the Tigers in Game 3 at Detroit 3-0.

Alex Cobb started for the Guards and went only 3 innings and took the loss.

After getting only 3 hits in the Game 2, Cleveland doubled their hit total with 6, but could not get the big hit when needed.

The Guardians have now failed to score a run in 20 consecutive innings (a Cleveland franchise record in the post season) and are facing elimination in this best of 5 series, trailing the “Motor City Kitties” 2 games to 1.

Game 4 in Detroit is Thursday at 6:08 PM on 1480 WHBC.  Tanner Bibee will get the start for Cleveland.

A win by the Guards and they force a Game 5 Saturday at Progressive Field. A loss, and the season is over.
