The Cavaliers saw their season come to an end on Tuesday night, once again blowing a 19 point lead to the Pacers,  as Indiana came all the way back to take Game 5 by the final score of 114-105 and win the series 4 games to 1.

Tyrese Haliburton was the best player on the floor in Game 5, as he finished with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.

Donovan Mitchell scored 35 points in the loss, but was only 8 of 25 from the field and 4 of 13 from 3-point range and he missed 6 free throws.

So for the 2nd consecutive year, Cleveland loses in the Eastern Conference Semifinals 4 games to 1.

And for the 2nd consecutive season, the Pacers have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Cleveland started the game 1 of 11 from 3-point range and made just 9 of 35 shots from beyond the arc in the game for a chilly 26%.

Meanwhile, the Pacers shot 43% from 3-point range, hitting on 15 of 35 shots.

The Cavs horrific shooting didn’t stop from beyond the arc. it happened at the charity stripe as well, where they made only 26 of 37 free throws.

Cavs forward Max Strus did not score a single point, going 0 for 9 shooting in 26 minutes in the loss. Strus had more fouls (4), than points (0).

While the Cavaliers season is over, Indiana we’ll play the winner of the Celtics-Knicks series in the Conference Finals. New York currently leads that series 3 games to 1.
