Ramirez An All-Star Starter Again For Guards

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez has been voted in as a starter for the American League in Major League Baseball’s  All-Star game to be played Tuesday, July 15 in Atlanta at 8pm.

It’s the 4th time Ramirez has been selected as a starter and the 7th time overall as an All-Star.

Bob Feller holds the franchise record with 8 All-Star selections.

Ramirez, in his 13th season in Cleveland, is the Guards loan starter in this year’s Midsummer Classic and is hitting .301 with 13 homeruns, 38 runs batted and has 21 stolen bases.

The AL and NL pitchers and reserves will be announced on Sunday, July 6.
