Sanders And Garrett Lead Browns To Win In Vegas

Rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw for 209 yards and a touchdown in his first NFL start and the Browns defense sacked Raiders quarterback Gino Smith 10 times in a 24-10 victory in Las Vegas.

Sanders first career touchdown pass was a 66 yard catch and run to fellow rookie running back Dylan Sampson.

The 5th round pick out of Colorado becomes the first Browns rookie QB to win his debut since Eric Zeier in 1995 under then head coach Bill Belichick.

Another rookie running back, Quinshon Judkins scored the Browns other 2 touchdowns.

Rookie tight end, Canton McKinley grad, Harold Fannin Jr. added 4 catches for 40 yards.

On the defensive side,  Myles Garrett  forced a fumble with 1 of his 3 sacks to raise his total to 18 sacks on the year and rookie linebacker, Carson Schwesinger led the team with 11 tackles.

With the victory, Cleveland improved to (3-8) on the season, next up for Cleveland, a Sunday home game against the 49ers.
