Statistically Speaking
Week one is in the books and Stark County had 20 teams playing this past weekend. Of those 20 schools, there was 19 games. We had one game that had two Stark County teams playing each other. (Sandy Valley beat Fairless 42-13)
Stark County ended the weekend 10-9.
Congratulations to the Lake Blue Streaks for their win over Columbus West 76-6. Want to take a guess on the team from Ohio that score the most points in one game. If you thought it was Lake, you would be wrong and not even close. Medina High beat Spencer by a score of 176-0 in 1923.
