Tigers Crush Clase To Even The ALDS At 1-1

The Detroit Tigers evened the best-of-5 ALDS at (1-1) by beating the Guardians yesterday at Progressive Field 3–0.

Kerry Carpenter’s 3-run homer off Guards closer, Emmanuel Clase in the top of the 9th innings was the difference.

Clase took the loss after surrendering 4 hits, and those 3 runs in 1 inning of work.

The Guardians offense only generated 3 hits in the Game 2 loss.

Both teams have an off day off on Tuesday.

Game 3 takes place Wednesday in Detroit at 3:08PM and you’ll hear that game on 1480 WHBC.

Alex Cobb will get the start for Cleveland, while Detroit has not named a starter.
