Two Stark County Teams Headed to Final Four
Two Stark County teams won Regional Finals over the weekend, earning them a spot in the OHSAA Boys Basketball Final Four.
In Division III Louisville defeated Bishop Harley 52-45 Sunday at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, earning the Leopards their first trip to a Final Four in school history. Coach Tom Siefried’s squad will take on North Royalton, Sunday at 6:00 at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.
The Perry Panther’s magical run continued Saturday when they defeated the Shaker Heights Red Raiders 57-43 in their Division II Regional Final. After beating Shaker, Perry fianlly got their season record to .500, now 13-13. Next for the Panthers is a final four matchup with Garfield Heights, Sunday at 3:00 at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.
