Yankees Take A 2-0 Lead In The ALCS With 6-3 Win

The Yankees now lead the Guardians 2 games to none in the ALCS after beating Cleveland Tuesday night in New York 6-3.

Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee took the loss as he lasted only 1 1/3 innings.

Aaron Judge hit his 1st home run of the playoffs, a 2-run shot in the 7th inning off of Hunter Gaddis.

The Guardians had their chances, but left 11 men on base, went (0-7) with runners in scoring position and committed 2 errors.

Jose Ramirez did hit a home run, but it came with nobody on in the the 9th inning.

Off the field the Guards placed pitcher Alex Cobb on the injured list with a back injury and replaced him on the ALCS roster with pitcher Ben Lively. Lively threw 1 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball in the Game 2 loss.
